Kate's company is hiring. Kyle is thinking about applying. 

There's a difference between hiring and recruiting. Large employers with entry level jobs hire people. But specialized companies use the term recruiting as it related to finding key employees who they call talent. 

When you're looking for talent, you're not hiring. You're recruiting. And this is marketing.
